A reminder that we have very important meetings taking place on the 26th April.  Please support your children's learning by coming along to both of these.  Child care is free during these meeting times.

We had another action packed day today.  The children were keen to meet their instructors again and take on more challenges around the camp.

Today they took part in; raft building, abseiling, the water slide and confidence course.

They spent a lot of the day in their togs and showering off layers of mud before their next activity.

Well, everyone made it through their first night at camp!  They are loving the experience and finding the simplest things a novelty....washing dishes, showering and even eating vegetables!!!

Today we had great fun doing the activities with the camp instructors:

High Trapeze

Kayaking

Archery

and the Crate Challenge

We all arrived safely at Camp Adair after a quick trip down to Hunua. 

After we unpacked the horse float (used to transport all of the gear), the children went to find their cabin.  They are very excited about these and can't wait to sleep the night in them.  They have already chosen their bunks, laid out their sleeping bag, pillow and clothes.

After lunch today, they went orienteering.  This certainly used up a fair bit of energy as they raced around the grounds finding clues to word puzzles.

On Wednesday, 18th May members of the Future Leaders' group went shopping.
