Homework

We encourage all families to support their children's learning and believe that this works best when home and school are working together.

We provide daily home-based follow-up activities for children to reinforce their in-class learning. These are usually; reading, spelling and basic facts.

In the younger years, it is expected that families will do these activities together.  As children get older we expect that they would take an increasing amount of responsibility for this themselves.

At the Parent Meeting in February, all teachers explain the homework that their class will be getting, the suggested timeframes at each year level and how you can support your child in their learning.
