We love our annual Athletics Day at the Riverhead Domain. Our whole school travels on the bus for a fun-filled day of running, jumping and throwing!

Our thanks to the Riverhead Athletics Club who let us use their wonderful equipment and facilities on this day!

The Future Leaders' Group ran a Freaky Friday at the end of Term 3. Even the staff joined in. Don't they look wonderful!

On the 26th October, our school visited the North Harbour Gymnastics' Club. We had a great time running, swinging, balancing, bouncing and landing in the foam pit. Look at the photos that were taken of us today!

This year RidgeView School are performing 'Oink' - a hilarious tale of Three Little Pigs.

The 'Future Leaders' are a group of RidgeView School students who enjoy participating in; developing the school, making decisions and taking on leadership roles. They range in age from 6 years to 11 years old and meet every week.

Throughout 2010 and the beginning of 2011, the group raised money through running mufti days. They wanted to buy a set of extra playground equipment for each class to use at breaktimes.

In Term 1, they asked each class to form a 'wish list'. This became their shopping list.

On Wednesday, 18th May four members of this passionate group went to K-Mart with Mrs Fenn to spend their hard-earned money.

On Friday, 17th June, Tom, Martha and Theresa cooked us a wonderful hangi for lunch.
Tom brought his Kai-Cooker to school. It smelt wonderful all day!

While we were waiting for the kai to cook, Tom told us about the stories behind his tatoos.

At lunchtime we said a karakia, then we got to taste the food. It was great! We had chicken, pork, cabbage, potato, kumara, pumpkin, stuffing and Rawena Bread. Then Theresa had a surprise for us - Steamed Pudding. Wow, we were really full after all that!
