Safety to School
Most of our children either walk to school or are brought by car.
Although we are on a private road with a 30km/hour speed limit, we are adjacent to a Paremoremo Road where traffic can travel at 80km/hr. Most of our children come to school along this road and we encourage parents to support us in ensuring their children have good road sense if travelling to school without an adult.
Several of our children choose to bike to school. The advice of the Police Education Officer is that children are able to begin to negotiate the challenges of riding their bikes on the road from the age of 10. Please ensure that your child is aware of the road rules, how to keep themselves and others safe and is wearing a helmet.
We have adequate parking along Cutts Crescent for parents to drop off and pick up their children. We remind parents not to park across the driveway or drive into our Staff Car so that we can help to keep our children safe from addtional traffice.
NB We do have a designated disabled car park for community use within our Staff Car Park.
